The ANPAS Package

What is ANPAS? It's a collection of forms and files suitable for running an employee performance appraisal system. The ANPAS forms and associated files are in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint format. You can download them here.

The ANPAS package contains all of the following (items 1 - 7):

1. ANPAS General Appraisal Form
Included in three versions: Premium, Express and Micro.
The Premium version is the most complex (for in-depth appraisal), the Express is simpler, and the Micro is the shortest and simplest of all.

Each form is based on a set of universal performance factors, derived from our research into what fundamental factors make a meaningful difference in employee performance. The common factors are:

· Job Knowledge
· Work Quality
· Work Rate
· Communications
· Interpersonal Relations
· Policy Compliance
· Attendance

Each factor is rateable on a behaviourally-anchored rating scale (BARS). There is also a goal-setting section that helps employees focus on specific improvement actions.

2. ANPAS Sales Appraisal Form
The SAF is a form intended specifically for evaluating people in selling and client contact roles. It looks at:

· Product and Market Knowledge
· Pro-activism
· Persuasive Communication
· Resilience
· Personal Presentation and Organization
· Closing Skills
· Internal Relations

3. ANPAS Management Appraisal Form
The MAF is a form intended specifically for evaluating people in supervisory and managerial roles. It looks at:

· Resilience
· Delegation
· Credibility
· Strategic Skills
· Operational Skills
· Decision Skills
· Adaptability
· Persuasiveness.

4. ANPAS Performance Note
A brief performance notification form (for both positive and negative incidents).

5. ANPAS Guide for Appraisers
Instructional PowerPoint slides for use with supervisors and managers who will be conducting appraisals.

6. ANPAS Guide for Appraisees
Instructional PowerPoint slides for use with employees who will be subject to appraisal (an orientation to appraisal in general and ANPAS in particular).

7. ANPAS Users Guide
A written guide to conducting performance appraisals using the ANPAS system; in Word doc format.
